Imcabc (IMCA-CAT Beamline Control) is the desktop application for beamline control at IMCA-CAT. It provides an easy to use graphical interface for performing the common tasks that a user may need to perform when conducting an experiment at a beamline.

Imcabc is written in Java and so can run on most platforms that have a Java VM.

Requirements

• Java 1.5 runtime (tested with Sun's J2SE Development Kit 5)
• imcabc-util-1.0.3.tar.bz2: provides imcabc-fit2gaussian for fitting data to a Gaussian function
• PostScript viewer: to display plot of anomalous scattering factors (tested with ImageMagick's display program)
• Chooch: for determination of anomalous scattering factors from X-ray fluorescence data
